Club History

Founded in 1945 , Burleson Lions Club has many years of service to our community.

As a civic minded service club, we raise money for our charity projects by various fund raisers throughout the year. Our Primary focus is prevention of blindness and helping the sight impaired individuals obtain Leader Dogs, purchase of eyeglasses for local school children whose parents may not be able to afford them. Through our commitment and experience, Burleson Lions Club has established a community relationship with our city that will last a lifetime! All funds raised from the general public are only used to fund charitable purposes; none are spent on club operations other than direct expenses associated with the specific fund raiser.
